ST. CLAIR SPECIAL EMERGENCY SERVICES ASSOCIATION RECEIVES USDA GRANT

Washington - U.S. Congressman Jerry Costello (D-IL) announced today that the St. Clair Special Emergency Services Association has received a $28,600 grant from the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Office of Rural Development.  The funds will be used to purchase a truck for transporting equipment during emergencies.   

"Through programs such as this we have been successful in improving the capabilities of our local first responders," Costello said.  "It is an important part of improving the security and safety of our communities as well as the nation."
