Washington - U.S. Congressman Jerry Costello (D-IL) announced today that General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems, located in Marion, has been awarded a $9,240,296 contract by the U.S. Army. The contract is for the procurement of 557,757 each of cartridge 25mm target practice, M793, 4,410 each of cartridge 25mm target practice, M793 Navy, and 149,657 each of cartridge 25mm target practice, M910.
"The dedicated employees of General Dynamics do important work and are a great example of how local businesses are a critical part of our national security," said Costello. "I will continue to ensure that our armed forces have sufficient resources."
