COSTELLO ANNOUNCES USDA AWARD FOR SIUC
Washington - U.S. Congressman Jerry Costello (D-IL) announced today that Southern Illinois University Carbondale (SIUC) has received a $282,500 National Research Initiative grant from the U.S. Department of Agriculture. The funds will be used for research in the Department of Fisheries and Illinois Aquaculture Center.
"Scientific research is essential for a growing economy," said Costello. "This award further distinguishes SIUC as one of the country's great research institutions."
