U.S. CONGRESSMAN JERRY COSTELLO PARTICIPATES IN RIBBON CUTTING FOR EVANSVILLE MARINA DEDICATION

Evansville, IL - On Saturday, May 28, 2005, U.S. Congressman Jerry Costello (D-IL) participated in a ribbon cutting and dedication ceremony for the new Evansville Marina Riverfront development located on the Kaskaskia riverfront in Evansville, Illinois.

Costello, along with local area officials, made remarks and cut the ribbon on a new Courtesy Boat Dock at the Saturday ceremony. When later phases are completed, the Evansville Riverfront development will include a full service restaurant, additional boater services, docks and related facilities. An Evansville Visitor Center, opened and dedicated by Congressman Costello in October of 2004, is also located nearby.
