MIDAMERICA AIRPORT RECEIVES DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION GRANT

Washington - U.S. Congressman Jerry Costello (D-IL) announced today that MidAmerica Airport has received a $732,770 Grant through the U.S. Department of Transportations's Federal Aviation Administration. 

The funds will be used to improve airport drainage, construct a de-icing containment facility and install lighted wind cones.  

"These improvements at MidAmerica Airport will enhance the safety of those using this facility," said Costello.  "I will continue to work to ensure our airports are safe and well maintained."
