FRANKLIN HOSPITAL DISTRICT RECEIVES USDA LOAN

Washington - U.S. Congressman Jerry Costello (D-IL) announced today that the Franklin Hospital District has received a $915,000 loan through the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Office of Rural Development.  The funds will be used to upgrade the heating and cooling system as well as the operating room, the outpatient clinic, the laboratory information system and anesthetics. 

"Providing access to quality health care is essential," said Costello.  "These improvements will enhance health care delivery in Franklin County and will positively impact local economic development."
