Washington - U.S. Congressman Jerry Costello (D-IL) announced today that Sarver and Associates, Inc., located in Carbondale, has been awarded a $520,555 research grant from the National Eye Institute of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. The funds will be used for research on multi-resolution corneal topography.
"Federal research dollars are an important driver of health care improvements and economic development," Costello said. "Having that research done in the local community magnifies that impact and enhances the region."
