U.S. CONGRESSMAN JERRY COSTELLO PRESENTS CHECK TO CITY OF DUQUOIN OFFICIALS
FOR INDUSTRIAL PARK ROAD PROJECT

DuQuoin, IL - On Thursday, August 18, 2005 , U.S. Congressman Jerry Costello (D-IL) presented a check representing Transportation Bill funds to DuQuoin Mayor John Rednour, at the DuQuoin City Hall .

Costello presented Mayor Rednour and City officials with a mock check in the amount of $500,000. DuQuoin will use these funds to build a heavy truck roadway in the DuQuoin Industrial Park. This project will provide improved truck traffic access into and out of the City-owned industrial park.

Costello secured these funds for the improvement to build the road in the multi-year Transportation Bill recently approved by the U.S. Congress.
