U.S. CONGRESSMAN JERRY COSTELLO PRESENTS CHECK TO ST. CLAIR COUNTY AND SHILOH OFFICIALS FOR THE FRANK SCOTT PARKWAY EXTENSION

Shiloh, IL - On Wednesday, August 17, 2005 U.S. Congressman Jerry Costello (D-IL) presented a check representing Transportation Bill funds to St. Clair County Board Chairman Mark Kern and Village of Shiloh Mayor Jim Vernier at an event held at the intersection of Frank Scott Parkway and Cross Street in Shiloh, Illinois .

Costello presented Mayor Vernier, Village Officials and St. Clair County officials with a mock check in the amount of $2,240,000. St. Clair County will use these funds to extend Frank Scott Parkway, which is a county road, to the east from its intersection at Cross Street in Shiloh to Route 158.  Costello secured these funds for St. Clair County in the Transportation Bill approved by the U.S. Congress.
