U.S. CONGRESSMAN JERRY COSTELLO TOURS JENNISON-WRIGHT SUPERFUND SITE IN GRANITE CITY

Granite City, IL - On Monday, April 11, 2005  U.S. Congressman Jerry Costello (D-IL) toured the Jennison-Wright Superfund Site in Granite City, Illinois.

Costello, along with state and local officials and officials from both the US Environmental Protection Agency and Illinois Environmental Protection Agency toured the site and made brief remarks regarding the recent release of $3.6 million from U.S. EPA to Illinois EPA to conduct further site cleanup activities at Jennison-Wright.

Costello has consistently worked to secure federal funding to further help clean up the Superfund site.

The Jennison-Wright facility is located at 900 West 22nd Street in Granite City, Illinois.
