Covering Committee Hearings and Markups

Only accredited members of the media may sit at the press table or film hearings and markups.  For more information on covering hearings, click here.

Equipment cannot be broken down or removed during a hearing or markup except during breaks or a recess.

Flash photography is prohibited once the hearing or markup has begun.
No food or beverage is allowed in the committee hearing room.

Obtaining Video Coverage

First Call handles all requests for video footage of committee hearings or markups.
A formal request must be submitted, and can be found here.

A committee signature is not required, verbal confirmation is sufficient.
