Geneva, IL – U.S. Rep. Randy Hultgren (IL-14) today released the following statement regarding the two year anniversary of President Obama’s health care law:

“Two years ago today, President Obama signed his health care bill into law,” said Hultgren. “Since then, the American people have seen only broken promises. They are confronted with higher premiums, the potential loss of their employer-provided insurance, and the threat of Medicare rationing. Despite all of this, the law’s cost has also exploded - from $940 billion to $1.76 trillion. Americans are deeply concerned and House Republicans share that concern. That is why we have voted repeatedly to repeal and defund the bill, and we will not rest until we are successful.”
