Hultgren Statement on the May Unemployment Report
Friday June 03, 2011
Washington, D.C. – U.S. Rep. Randy Hultgren (IL-14) today issued the following statement in response to the May unemployment figures released by the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
"Today's disappointing report is a stark reminder that this Administration's policies of spending, borrowing, taxing, and regulating are deterring American job creators and holding back our economy. Instilling confidence in our economy and putting Americans back to work requires meaningful spending cuts, confidence that taxes will remain low and regulations sane, and an end to the borrowing spree that endangers our future."
