Off Season Access
All of our parks are open year round for both day use and camping. Remember these tips for both day use and off season camping.




Hunting in Vermont State Parks
While hunting is not allowed during the regular operating park season it is allowed during the off season. There is no hunting allowed within 500 feet of an occupied building. Now, Risk-free reservations!
Make that reservation now and plan your adventure in a Vermont State Park, you've got nothing to lose! If you have to cancel, just call the Reservation Call Center or the park by 2:00 PM on the day before your arrival. When you call, you can switch your reservation to a new date with no penalty. Now that's happy camping! More here

Please don't bring firewood to the parks! In order to prevent the spread of invasive forest pests, we only permit firewood that comes from less than a fifty mile radius from the park. Please do your part and keep our Vermont forests healthy and beautiful! Learn more about the threat and what you can do.
