The Stewart-Marchman Center

The Stewart-Marchman Behaviorial Healthcare center is a non-profit mental illness, substance abuse and rehabilitation organization, which offers a continuum of care for addictions and delinquency rehabilitation including detoxification, day treatment, residential care, supported living, recreation and aftercare programs.

With more than 30 years of experience in providing quality substance abuse treatment and rehabilitation services, Stewart-Marchman-Act specializes in the treatment of adolescent substance abusers.

Rep. Mica recently secured $800,000 in federal funding for 2010 which will aid Stewart-Marchman-Act in expansion of their residential facilities and purchase equipment for the new Vince Carter Sanctuary in Bunnell, which opened on August 17, 2009. Citizens seeking treatment at Stewart-Marchman will benefit from increased services and expanded facilities that these funds will provide," said Mica. "This record level of funding will be important to strengthen our community’s substance abuse treatment and recovery programs."

This most recent appropriation follows previous funding secured by Congressman Mica for this new center; $99,410 in 2004 and $100,000 in FY2005.
