Seniors

As a country we owe a debt of gratitude to the generations of retired Americans and those about to retire.  These folks have carried the torch for America through the turbulence of war and national upheaval.  We can never repay their sacrifices but we can honor them by keeping our word.

I made a pledge to my constituents that I would not compromise federal benefits for those 55 years old or older.  We cannot and should not move the goal posts for these folks who have worked and are expecting security in their retirement.  Seniors have paid into systems that should not fail them and I intend to make sure that does not happen.
