Education

America’s future prosperity depends on our children having access to a quality education. Congress must do its part by promoting high academic standards that prepare students to enter the 21st Century workforce. However, for far too long, officials in Washington have put special interests ahead of students.

To rectify this situation, Congress should pass legislation that puts parents in control of their child’s education. I know parents are the best judge of what their child needs and will always put their interest first. Further, local schools need to be given flexibility to implement federal laws, so they can better serve their students.
