Give Thanks
While this past year has been difficult financially for many South Texas families, we still have a lot to be thankful for. We live in the greatest country on earth, that God has blessed with liberty and freedom. I'm also thankful to be in Texas, where our economy is getting stronger by the day. Our jobless rate is lower than the rest of the country and low cost energy from new drilling technologies is creating opportunities unimaginable from just a few years ago. I expect the next few years to be filled with announcements from new and expanding businesses choosing Texas as their home for their growth.

Speaking of thanks, I am also incredibly thankful to our first responders, law enforcement, military and our veterans who put their lives on the line to keep us safe and free.

Inauguration Tickets
Are you interested in attending the 2013 Presidential Inauguration? Constituents may submit their request for up to four (4) tickets per household. My office has a limited number of tickets that we are making available free to residents of the 27th congressional district of Texas. If there are more requests then tickets available, we will hold a drawing to determine who will receive the tickets. If your name is drawn, you will be notified about pickup location, time and date.
