Senator Richard G. Lugar, the Ranking Republican on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and a senior member of the Agriculture Committee, today called for immediate hearings “on the potential impact of the free trade agreements with Panama, Colombia, and South Korea on America’s farmers and ranchers.”
Co-signing the letter to Agriculture Committee Chairwoman Debbie Stabenow and Ranking Member Pat Roberts, was Minority Leader Mitch McConnell and Sens. Thad Cochran, Saxby Chambliss, Mike Johanns, John Boozman, John Thune and John Hoeven.
