Order a Flag

To purchase a U.S. Flag from my Washington, D.C. Office, please complete the Flag Request Form.

When complete, mail the form, along with a check made out to “G.K. Butterfield Office Supply Account” for the stated amount to:

Material/Sizes

• Flags are made of cotton or nylon and are available in three sizes: 3'x5', 4'x6', and 5'x8'.

  Cost/Delivery

• Flags are sold at cost, and the prices are listed on the Flag Request Form.  Flag delivery takes approximately 4-6 weeks, but rush delivery may be available. If you require expedited delivery of your flag, please contact my Washington, D.C. Office at (202) 225-3101.

Request to have flag flown over the Capitol

• You may also request to have your flag flown over the Capitol Building. Flags are flown daily, year-round, weather permitting, excluding Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day. After your flag is flown over the Capitol, we will ship it to you along with a signed Certificate of Authenticity.
• You may also request your flag be flown on a specific date to commemorate a particular person, organization, or event. Please include a one sentence description of what you wish to recognize.

 Here’s an example: This flag was flown for John Smith in recognition of his retirement from teaching after 40 years of dedicated service.

Payment

• All flag orders must be purchased by personal check in the exact amount made out to “G. K. Butterfield Office Supply Account”. The personal check must be mailed to my office along with the Flag Request Form.  Credit cards and other forms of payment are not accepted.
