ACA: Working for NC 1st District

• 94,000 seniors in NC 1ST CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICT have received Medicare preventive services without paying anything at all – a copay, coinsurance or deductible. 

• More than 5,000 young adults in NC 1ST CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICT now have health insurance when they previously did not. 

• About 390 small businesses in NC 1ST CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICT received tax credits to expand care to employees. 

• 34,000 children with preexisting health conditions in NC 1ST CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICT can no longer be denied coverage by insurers under the Affordable Care Act.
