Sen. DeMint to Continue “Saving Small Business” Tour in Spartanburg and Greenville Areas

COLUMBIA, S.C. - U.S. Senator Jim DeMint will visit the Spartanburg and Greenville areas on Monday, October 22, 2012.

Senator DeMint will continue his “Saving Small Business” Tour with visits in the Upstate after previously making stops in several other areas of South Carolina during the last two weeks. He will begin the day with a Spartanburg Chamber of Commerce breakfast where he will provide the keynote address and take questions from attendees. He will also provide the keynote address later in the day at the Greenville Chamber of Commerce lunch.

DeMint will later visit Adex Machining Technologies, a small business that began in 1987 in Greer, SC as a small tool and die shop, and today provides prototype and production machining services for the aerospace, defense and energy industries.

Senator DeMint will provide the keynote address and take questions from attendees

GREENVILLE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE LUNCH
The Kroc Center, 424 Westfield Street, Greenville, SC
Senator DeMint will provide the keynote address and take questions from attendees. Following his speech, he will also participate in a tour of the Kroc Center in celebration of the center’s one year anniversary (media are welcome to attend).

ADEX MACHINING TECHNOLOGIES TOUR

Senator DeMint will tour the facility and speak with employees and management to discuss the challenges and opportunities facing small businesses.
