U.S. Senator Jim DeMint – along with Hope for Orphans, the Carolina Christian Alliance for Orphans, Palmetto Family Council and Nightlight Christian Adoptions – will host the 2012 Finding Families Adoption and Foster Care Conference on Friday, October 26, 2012. It will be an all-day event featuring speakers from national and local adoption groups, the South Carolina Department of Social Services, and adoptive parents.
DeMint will also present his 2012 Angels in Adoption Award to A Home for Me, a program through First Baptist Church Simpsonville that works to secure safe and loving homes for children in need.
