Education Advisory Committee

Members of this volunteer Committee advise the Congressional Representative of concerns, problems, and needs relating to education; recommend actions to address and/or solve concerns; provide assistance in evaluating Federal programs as they pertain to education; may review proposed legislation to determine its impact on education, and recommend revisions to proposed legislation.

Senior Citizen Advisory Committee

Members of this voluntary Committee act in an advisory capacity regarding concerns, problems, and needs relating to senior citizens; recommend actions to address and/or solve concerns; advise and suggest programs and activities of value to senior citizens; provide assistance in evaluating Federal programs as they pertain to seniors; review proposed legislation to determine its impact on the senior citizen population, and recommend revisions to proposed legislation as may be related to the health, welfare, security and safety of senior citizens; offer input to the long-range planning, promote economic, cultural and social development for senior citizen community; and act as a liaison for the senior citizen community.
