Florida's 24th District is home to hundreds of lakes, streams, rivers, wetlands, beaches and other ecological marvels. With so much beautiful and pristine land in our region it is no wonder that thousands visit each year to tour our parks, swim in the ocean, enjoy our beaches, and paddle up and down our rivers.
It is important that everyone in Florida work together toward a goal of promoting responsible stewardship of our environment. This means that we must balance the need to conserve threatened lands with the needs of private property owners and others to make use of their property. This is something that I will continue to work toward in the House and would welcome your input to best accomplish this goal.
