Senator McConnell Meets with White House Office of National Drug Control Policy Director

Washington, DC – U.S. Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell meets White House Office of National Drug Control Policy Director Gil Kerlikowske on Monday in his office in the U.S. Capitol to discuss the Director’s upcoming trip to Kentucky. Senator McConnell encouraged Director Kerlikowske to visit Kentucky to see first-hand the challenges posed by illegal drugs in the Commonwealth. During the meeting, Senator McConnell and Director Kerlikowske discussed the problems facing Kentucky, as they relate to prescription drug abuse, meth production and marijuana eradication.
