LOUISVILLE – U.S. Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell released the following statement today regarding the passing of former Senator Warren Rudman:
“Elaine and I mourn the passing of former Senator Warren Rudman, a longtime fixture in Granite State politics and a leader in the cause of fiscal responsibility. A two-term senator known for his independence, Senator Rudman served his nation as an infantry platoon leader and company commander during the Korean War and will be remembered for his lifelong commitment to public service. We send our condolences to the entire Rudman family.”
