Chairman Price: “We Stand Shoulder-to-Shoulder” with Israel

Washington, D.C.– House Republican Policy Committee Chairman Tom Price, M.D. (R-GA) responded to the mounting violence directed toward America’s ally, Israel, saying: 

“Our thoughts and prayers are with the people of Israel and all who yearn for peace in the Middle East. This latest round of terrorist attacks will not be tolerated, and the United States must remain unequivocally committed to our greatest ally in the region, Israel. The Israeli people have every right to defend themselves, and we stand shoulder-to-shoulder with them in our shared efforts to eliminate terrorism wherever it may dwell.

“No people should have to live in fear of violent extremism. Unfortunately these types of indiscriminate terrorist attacks that shamefully target innocent civilians are all too familiar for the families living in this troubled region. That is why America must lead the world in condemning violent extremism and holding accountable those who would seek to foster greater violence, fear and unrest.”
