“It’s been clear over the last couple weeks that the President is not interested in staying focused on jobs and the economy. In fact, it seems that he’s interested in talking about everything else but jobs, the economy and getting people back to work. That’s what this election is about. This election is about people making a decision as to who is best to lead and get this country back to work.

“We have stayed focused on trying to clean up bad policies, cut spending, and promote the ability for people to get back to work. We are going to continue to do that this summer. This week, we are talking about energy and trying to bring down the costs for small businesses and manufacturers so that they can increase their payrolls and get people back to work. We are also - as the Speaker said - going to be about repealing ObamaCare, so we can remove that uncertainty for small businesses as they look to hire more people and to control health care costs.

“We are also going to be about passing a bill to ensure that tax rates don’t go up on anyone, most especially the small businesses that we’re counting on to create jobs. We’re going to continue our focus on trying to cut red tape and roll back regulations so that businesses, entrepreneurs and investors can finally get back in the game and create jobs.”
