Menendez Discusses Hurricane Sandy on the Senate Floor

US Senator Robert Menendez (D-NJ) spoke on the Senate floor to remind Senate colleagues that, although weeks have passed and progress has been made, the recovery and rebuilding process in New Jersey is far from over. Menendez touched on what steps he and the federal government have taken so far to assist New Jersey after the unprecedented "superstorm" wreaked havoc across the state. The Senator also called for continued support and additional resources to meet transit, housing and other long-term recovery needs.
