SCom: AviationWASHINGTON, D.C.—The U.S. Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation will hold an open conference meeting to consider the FAA reauthorization bill on Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. in room 253 of Russell Senate Office Building.

 “I am hopeful that we can reach an agreement on the few unresolved pieces of the FAA bill,” Chairman Rockefeller said.  “The Senate appointed conferees last year, and we’ve been eager to move this legislation forward ever since.  I hope the meeting gets us an agreement that can be passed by both chambers and sent to the President for his signature.”
