Internships

Whether you are interested in government or politics, or simply in search of valuable professional experience, I invite you to apply for a student internship in my Congressional office. Congressional interns are provided a unique opportunity to learn about the federal government, as well as our nation’s history.

"Reading is Fundamental" - 2012 Spring Interns for
Congressman Devin Nunes, Washington D.C.

As part of my staff, Washington D.C. interns will witness first-hand the process associated with lawmaking. They will also be afforded a variety of opportunities to attend events with our nation’s leading scholars, decision makers and political leaders. Responsibilities vary depending on the Congressional schedule and may include legislative research, responding to constituent requests, attending Congressional committee hearings, conducting tours of the U.S. Capitol and performing general office duties.

District interns, who can work in Visalia or Clovis, will witness the delivery of services to constituents, intergovernmental relations, and other field activities that are essential to my work in Congress. They will also have the opportunity to attend local events and interact with community leaders. Responsibilities vary but will include research for constituents, assisting with Congressional events, and other general office duties.

All interns should possess a mature, professional manner. I am seeking interns that are well-organized, efficient and self-motivated.

If you are interested in applying for an internship, please fill out an application (download) and mail it to my office in Visalia.
