With unemployment running at above 8 percent for 41 straight months -- and even higher for veterans -- finding the right job opening can be tough.  The Jobs Fair will help connect job seekers with career opportunities at some of the great companies in our area.  Veterans are encouraged to attend the mroning sessino for workshops designed specifically for them.  (9 a.m. to Noon).

• Polish up your resume-writing skills
• Gain helpful hints for your next interview

Small Business Fair

WHERE: The Eola Community Center
               555 South Eola Road, Aurora, IL

Local small business managers and entrepreneurs are invited to find new markets for their products and services.  Learn how to take advantage of exporting, contracting and grant opportunities through federal agencies, including the Department of Commerce; the Small Business Administration; The General Services Administration and many more.

At the Small Business Fair, you are invited to:

• Shop for federal grant and contracting opportunities for your business
• Get help with exporting for access to credit
• Fine-tune your grant-writing skills
