WASHINGTON—Today, U.S. Representative Mike Quigley (D-IL) sat down with Irish Ambassador Michael Collins in the Congressman’s Washington, D.C. office to discuss issues facing Ireland and Irish-Americans.  Illinois’ 5th Congressional District is home to approximately 75,000 Irish-Americans.

Quigley is a member of the Friends of Ireland Caucus in the House of Representatives. His district is home to the Irish American Heritage Center, a premiere cultural organization dedicated to fostering Irish heritage and education across the country.
