About Florida's 19th District


Florida's 19th congressional district contains portions of Palm Beach County and Broward County in sunny South Florida. Ted was first elected to Congress on April 13, 2010 and then reelected on November 4, 2010. Learn more about Congressman Deutch.

The most northern point of the district begins in West Palm Beach and extends south and west of Interstate 95 through Palm Beach County municipalities such as Greenacres, Boynton Beach, Delray Beach, and Boca Raton. The district then continues into Broward County communities like Coral Springs, Tamarac, and Margate. Ted lives in West Boca Raton with his wife, Jill, and three children. 

The district is home to communities of young families as well as a large population of retirees from across the country. Ted serves his constituents in Congress by promoting an agenda of economic opportunity for the middle class and financial security for America's retirees.  Learn more about Ted's legislative initiatives.
