America Moves Forward

November 9, 2012
Dear Friends,

I thank my constituents and am honored that I will be able to continue to work with President Barack Obama as we keep moving our country forward. Now that the elections are over, I look forward to returning to a productive session in Congress to deal with the fiscal cliff, and tackle issues ranging from taxes to defense to Medicare. As the Dean of the New York Congressional Delegation, I am proud to congratulate and welcome newly-elected Representatives Grace Meng, Daniel Maffei, Sean Maloney, Hakeem Jeffries, and Chris Collins to the House of Representatives. I look forward to welcoming these new Members to Congress as we have much work to do to rebuild and strengthen our great City and State of New York.
