White House Tour Requests

We are able to help you coordinate tour requests to visit the White House, which is free of charge. The White House visitor's office has a first come, first served request system, meaning, the sooner you enter your request, the better your chances are for approval.  Some requests are denied due to scheduling conflicts or because of short notice of request submission.

You may place an online tour request.  The following information will be required for each individual that will be particpating on the tour:

• Full name (inlcluding middle name)
• Full date of birth
• Full social security number (only applicable for those over the age of 16)
• Gender
• City, State of residence (must match what is on your government photo id)
• Citizenship status
• Country of birth (please provide country of birth if not US)

Due to the large number of visitor requests, all requests must be placed atleast 25 days in advance. Tours are only conducted Tuesdays - Saturdays, from 7:30am- 1pm.

Tour of the U.S. Capitol

Tours of the U.S. Capitol can be self-reserved: Visit the Capitol. Guided tours of the historic Capitol begin at the orientation theaters with a 13-minute film, "Out of Many, One," which will take you on a journey through our country's struggle to establish the world's first truly representative democracy and introduce you to the magnificent building that houses our Congress. Once inside the historic Capitol, visitors will see the Crypt of the Capitol, the Rotunda, and National Statuary Hall. All tours begin and end at the Capitol Visitor Center.

Tours of the U.S. Capitol run every 10 minutes, starting from 8:50 a.m. - 3:20 p.m. and are approximately one hour in duration. There are no tours conducted on Sundays.
