Washington, DC - Members of the Congressional Progressive Caucus, and other members, released the following statement on the upcoming supplemental debate following a meeting with members of the Democratic leadership.  The statement is on behalf of Congresswoman Lynn Woolsey, Congresswoman Barbara Lee, Congresswoman Maxine Waters, Congressman Lloyd Doggett, Congressman Keith Ellison, Congresswoman Diane Watson and Congressman Jerry Nadler.

“We have had a constructive dialogue with members of our party’s leadership regarding the upcoming supplemental debate.  However, at this time, we have not reached any final agreement regarding the supplemental.  We look forward to discussing our proposal to fully fund the withdrawal of US soldiers and military contractors with members of the press tomorrow morning at 9:30am in the Radio/TV gallery."
