The panel discussion will feature speakers from war-torn countries in central Asia, Europe and the Middle East. The discussion will focus on the key role of women in democratic stability and the efforts of these women to build peace in countries such as Afghanistan, Burundi and Israel.

“Women Waging Peace” is an international organization that supports women in conflict regions around the world who are actively involved in building stability through civil society. The organization is headquartered at the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.
