Preparing for Severe Weather

As Alabama braces for another hurricane season, we are reminded of how vulnerable our state is to natural weather phenomenon.  This year, our state has already been pounded by severe storms and devastating tornadoes.  When severe weather strikes, it is essential that our communities be prepared for the potential storm hazards that may result.

Unfortunately, many people are unprepared for the effects of storms.  I encourage you all to become familiar with severe weather hazards and arrange a disaster plan to protect your family and loved ones.  If you would like to learn more about what steps you can take to prepare and learn what you should do during and after a tornado or hurricane, please visit the links provided below.
