Congressman Jack Kingston - First District of Georgia

Congressman Jack Kingston (R-GA) will host a Veterans Forum to educate veterans and their loved ones about programs and assistance available to them.  Attendees will have the opportunity to get information directly from the Veterans Administration as well as veteran service organizations. The forum will be held in Savannah on Monday, April 16 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Armstrong Atlantic State University. 

“I encourage all area veterans to attend this forum”, Said Kingston.  “Whether they need assistance with completing forms, processing a claim, or just want to learn more about the many opportunities for which they may eligible for, we’ll have answers for them.”

This year a mobile VA center will be on site to assist Veterans. Additionally, there will be a panel discussion on common VA issues.  Organizations to be represented at the forum include Charleston VAMC, Savannah CBOC, Dublin VAMC, Lake City, Florida VAMC, North Florida/South Georgia Veterans Health System, Atlanta Regional VA Office and the Philadelphia VA Pension Management Office, among others.
