I am here to help you. Whether you need help with a federal agency, are trying to find out if federal grants are available for your project, or are considering applying to a service academy, my office and I are here to help. I hope all the information in this section will be helpful.

If you would like to request an appointment with me or to invite me to attend your event, please fill out this form.  Please note that requests take at least two weeks to process.  If your event is sooner than that, please contact my office.


Help With A Federal Agency (Casework)
One of the most important things I do as a Congressman is help people with federal problems. Although I cannot override the decisions made by a federal agency, I can often intervene on a person's behalf to answer questions, find solutions, or just cut through the red tape.

Service Academy Nominations
To be considered for an appointment to a U. S. Service Academy, an applicant must meet the eligibility requirements established by law and be nominated from an authorized person including a Member of the United States Senate or the House of Representatives. This section will provide you with nomination information.

Help with a Federal Grant
This section will provide you with a central location to search the wealth of information available from both government and private entities who offer financing to individuals, businesses and state and local governments. The links in this section offer helpful information that will enable you research information efficiently and will guide you on writing grant proposals.

Internships
My office is always accepting applications from college students and young professionals interested in interning in my Washington or district offices.

Obtaining a Federal Document
Federal documents have increasingly become available on the Internet. This section will provide you with information on how you can obtain federal documents.

Request a Presidential Greeting
If you or a family member are celebrating a special day, I would be happy to help secure a greeting from the President. Please submit the form in this section if you would like to request a greeting.

To request a flag flown over the Capitol, please submit the form in this section.

Kid's Page
America’s most precious resource lies in her youth. They are the next generation of leaders and this section is dedicated to them. This section has information about the United States government and a section for resources for parents and teachers.

Congressional Art Competition
Each year, congressional offices may participate in the Congressional Art Competition, "An Artistic Discovery." This nationwide competition provides an excellent opportunity to showcase the talent of high school students and acknowledge our nation's gifted young adults. This section will provide you with information on the competition.

State and Federal Links
This section will provide everything from county and city links to The White House.

Marching Band Nominations
Nominate a marching band to participate in the National Independence Day or National Memorial Day Parades.

Federal Voting Assistance Program
The Federal Voting Assistance Program assists those serving our Nation abroad with excersizing their right to vote. Check out this section for more information.
