ICYMI: Jack featured on WJCL

In case you missed it, Congressman Jack Kingston (R-GA) was featured on WJCL Savannah discussing the ongoing debate over the policy with respect to gays in the military known as "Don't Ask, Don't Tell."

    Someone should step up and say, "We are going to reduce spending immediately by having each non-essential government department reduce staff by at least 10%, reduce spending by at least 10% and freeze hiring in non- esential departments." Everyone will say that my department is essential. Everyone should be included except the Defense Department and Homeland Security. We need to follow what any sound company would do in this situation and many of our allies are taking this serious step. Extending the "Bush tax cuts would go along way to make businesses feel comfortable in making hiring decisions and ending much of the unknown. We have to make decisions that will get us out of this economic crisis.
