As your United States Representative, my top priority is to serve the people of the 19th District of Texas in any way that I can. The resources available to my office are available to you, and I hope you will take full advantage.

Assistance with Federal Agencies (Casework)
My staff has helped thousands of constituents who have questions or need help working with federal agencies. If you can't get an answer from a federal agency in a reasonable time, we might be able to help resolve a problem or get you the information you need.

Internship Program
Apply for an internship in one of our offices! We try to provide educational opportunities for many students from the 19th District. The number of internships available is governed by space, availability and office needs.

Military Service Academy Nominations
Service academies can provide excellent educations and open the door to many rewarding opportunities. Any student interested in applying to one of the nation's service academies should first consult their parents and high school counselor.

Order a U.S. Flag
As a Member of Congress, I am able to arrange for an American flag to be flown over the United States Capitol. This page will provide you with information on how to order a United States Flag through my Washington office.

Scouting Award Letters
My office can provide a congratulatory letter for Boy or Girl Scouts who have completed various award requirements (i.e. Eagle Scout, Gold Star award).

Congressional Art Competition
Each spring, the U.S. House of Representatives hosts the Congressional Art Competition, An Artistic Discovery. The competition is open to all high school students in the 19th District of Texas. Click here to see the requirements and guidelines the artwork must meet.
