    • The action of the Fed printing more money backed by nothing and the action of our government transferring trillions of bad debt into U.S. treasury are causing the prices of food and commodities to dramatically increase throughout the world. Even though food and commodities are becoming more expensive, the Fed still does not want to admit that we have an inflation problem. This inflation is going to get a lot worse in the U.S. and other Western countries when the dollar loses its status as the world’s reserve currency. When this happens, gas prices in the U.S. could reach $10 per gallon and a loaf of bread could cost just as much. Inflation is already a major problem throughout the world. Since 2010, the prices of wheat, oats, cotton and coffee have increased more than 70 percent and they are going to get a lot worse.

  3. Stop Outrageous Spending: According to the Heritage Foundation, for every $6.80 the federal government collected in taxes in 2012, it spent $10. It also spent nearly $1.7 billion to maintain 77,700 underused or unused buildings.
  4. This week, I'm calling for an SOS to Stop Outrageous Spending. I'll be drawing attention to the out-of-control government spending that has led to over $16 trillion in debt and trillion dollar deficits. America does not have a tax problem, ...
we have a spending problem. And I hope that by highlighting this outrageous spending, we can start discussions on how to rein it in. Check back here for updates, and follow me on Twitter @RandyNeugebauer!

  5. I hope you’ll join me today in remembering the lives that were lost in the attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941, and thank those who bravely served as part of the Greatest Generation.
West Texas is still home to a number of WWII veterans. Please feel free to share a story or picture of a loved one who fought in the war so that we can all honor their service.
Today we remember those that went before us and made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of our great nation. "December 7, 1941 - A date which will live in infamy."

  6. We must address spending cuts as part of the solution to averting the fiscal cliff. For the sake of our children and grandchildren, We cannot let the reckless spending continue with money we don't have. Watch this new video from House Republicans:
  7. In this week's Randy's Roundup: the fiscal cliff and the government's spending problem, a section on the farm bill, and my thoughts on listing the Lesser Prairie-Chicken as a "threatened" species.
  8. I’m disappointed in the Fish and Wildlife Service’s decision to move towards listing the Lesser Prairie-Chicken as a threatened species. It’s clear that the Endangered Species Act has grown out of hand...I hope the Service reconsiders this listing and chooses a more cooperative approach.
  9. In case you missed it: The agriculture industry accounts for about one-third of the local economy in the High Plains region, employing more than 103,000 people in the area. That’s why it’s so important to pass a long-term Farm Bill to give producers and everyone in the ag industry the stability and certainty they need to make business decisions.
  10. This morning, I spent some time to write Christmas cards to our service men and women overseas. You keep us safe and secure, and I thank you and your families for your sacrifice and dedication.

  12. I am heartbroken at the news of the train collision in Midland yesterday. I hope you’ll join me in praying for the family and friends of the four servicemen who were killed, and for a speedy recovery for all seventeen people who were injured in the crash.
  13. I spoke to Melissa Francis at Fox Business yesterday about what went wrong at MF Global, how cutomer funds were lost, and how we can prevent similar issues in the future.
