In collaboration with the New Jersey State Federation of Women's Clubs, AAUW-NJ is asking for your support of its collaborative food drive by bringing non-perishable food products to the AAUW-NJ Annual meeting on Saturday, April 14th (Forsgate Country Club, Forsgate Drive, Jamesburg, NJ 08831 732-521-0070) between 9 am to 2 pm. The goal of the food drive entitled: "Operation Peanut Butter, Jelly and Beans" is to restock the food banks under the name, "A Million Pounds: Dare-Dream-Do". The much needed volunteer program will run from April 14th to June 12th , 2012. After April 14th, the New Jersey AAUW Branches are being encouraged to hold food drives in their local areas throughout New Jersey. All collections will be distributed to local food banks in the North, Central and South Jersey areas, such as:

In addition volunteers and donations are truly needed at your local soup kitchens, food pantries, and food banks. Check the internet for the sites closest to you.
