About The Event
The Hudson County Clerk, Barbara A. Netchert, is hosting "Passport Day in the USA,” on Saturday, March 10, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 pm. During this annual event, the public is invited to apply for a U.S. Passport Book or Passport Card at the County Clerk’s Office.
Applicants are encouraged to review the County Clerk’s Passport Checklist, available online at www.hudsoncountyclerk.org, prior to Passport Day to ensure that they bring with them the necessary documents. Applicants are also welcome to speak with a passport agent directly with any questions or concerns they may have by calling the Passport Division at 201-369-3470 OPTION 4.
U.S. citizens must present a valid passport book when entering or re-entering the United States by air. U.S. citizens entering the United States from Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean and Bermuda at land borders and sea ports of entry must also present a U.S. Passport Book, Passport Card, or other specific travel documents listed on www.travel.state.gov.
