Please be aware that the Veteran can check the status of a claim, or appeal, obtain a copy of the DD 214, create a benefits letter, and access additional VA benefit information via eBenefits at www.ebenefits.va.gov.  If the Veteran has not enrolled in eBenefits, he/she can register for an account by one of the following options:  Log on to the eBenefits website noted above, or Speak with an eBenefits specialist by calling 1-800-827-1000, or visit the local VA regional office.
