Dear Friends:

When the Budget Control Act was passed this summer, the country heaved a sigh of relief that the Republican-generated default crisis had been averted.  Now, I get approached daily by constituents who want to know how the Budget Control Act will affect their lives, what government services they can count on, and what this Super Committee is, how it will work, and what they think it should do.

This Thursday, at 10:00 AM PDT, I am holding a conference call for constituents to answer all these questions and guide them through what the Budget Control Act does and what the Super Committee will do.
