Today, Congressman Henry Cuellar (D-TX) convened a roundtable discussion with special invited guest Marilyn Tavenner, Acting Administrator for the U.S. Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), to hear from medical and healthcare industry stakeholders from the South Texas area.  The conversation centered on health care needs in South Texas, including Medicaid, Medicare, regulations and the Affordable Care Act, as well as the agency’s efforts to respond to these unique needs for Texans.
